I hold an M.A. in Education (TESOL) and a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education and Research. My research interests focus on second-language acquisition (SLA), with particular emphasis on cross-linguistic influence between Japanese and English and the methods by which L2 grammatical accuracy may be improved through web-based explicit instruction. My recent projects have explored grammatical accuracy at the levels of morphosyntax, syntax, and deixis. The research findings have been published in international academic journals.

教育学（TESOL）の修士号および外国語教育・研究の博士号を取得しています。研究分野は第二言語習得で、特に日本語と英語の間に見られる言語間の影響や、ウェブを用いた明示的指導による第二言語の文法的正確さの向上に関心があります。近年は、形態統語・統語・指示性といった観点から文法的正確さを検討してきました。研究成果は国際的な学術誌に掲載されています。
